Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking a Deli Bakery Associate in Red Deer, AB. You will deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining and organizing the Deli and Bakery areas, and assist with stocking and selling goods in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities include rotating stock, ensuring accurate pricing, following cold chain and food-safety protocols, and preparing hot and baked items for display. This role supports customers and contributes to store standards.

• Takes orders for Deli Department merchandise; preparing hot food merchandise and providing requested assistance.
• Prepares deli food orders utilizing utensils; preparing chicken by using rotisserie oven; and fill prepared side dishes for placement into display area.
• Prepares bakery merchandise by accurately following thawing and baking guidelines to ensure the quality and visual appearance of Bakery Department merchandise, such as bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls.
• Follows proper procedures for; Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.

Minimum rate of pay

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $16.45.
