What you'll do...

• Ensure safe work processes and emergency procedures are followed, including safe lifting techniques, cleanliness, evacuations, register down times, emergency codes, and theft prevention.
• Handle customer and Associate concerns and provide guidance as required.
• Monitor all Front End associates to ensure proper coverage, coordinate breaks, and assist with outlying registers.
• Provide training to Associates on systems and company procedures, including scanning accuracy, productivity, company programs and initiatives, discounts, EAS system, and safety protocols.
• Oversee purchase, return, and exchange transactions, assist with error correction, provide approvals, and verify processes to meet company guidelines.
• Ensure all EAS systems are functioning properly, including cashier deactivation, greeter issue handling, and logging failures.
• Prepare registers for opening and closing, support cashiers with change, maintain cash levels, and complete register audits for accuracy.
• Promote and oversee all company-sponsored programs and initiatives, such as credit card services, Walmart protection plans, charity initiatives, and discount programs.
