Job summary

Walmart Canada in Val-d’Or is seeking a Cosmetics Associate to deliver exceptional customer service and support daily merchandise flow from backroom to sales floor.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers and assists with product selection, promotes products and services, helps customers locate merchandise, supports purchase decisions, and resolves concerns or refers them to management when appropriate.
• Maintains strong sales floor standards by stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or expired items, setting up and maintaining displays, and ensuring accurate signing and pricing.
• Receives and stocks merchandise, completes picks and downstocking as required, applies product protection when necessary, and sets and completes modulars, including flex modulars and new shelf caps.
• Ensures proper handling of claims and returns, secures merchandise, identifies high-shrink items, and supports loss prevention efforts in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
• Refers appropriate service and transactional requests to the Customer Service Manager as needed and supports Front End and store operations when required.
• Provides customers with awareness that a dedicated Cosmetics Associate is available to offer guidance, product knowledge, and support within the department.

• Performs repetitive tasks such as stocking, zoning, and organizing products with attention to detail and consistency to uphold store standards.
