Position Summary

Working as a Cosmetics Associate at Walmart Canada is a great opportunity to grow your skills in a fast paced retail environment. In this role, you deliver excellent customer service while supporting the smooth flow of merchandise from the backroom to the sales floor. As a trusted partner in loss prevention, you help protect company assets through attention to detail and strong product awareness. What You'll Do

• Greets customers in a polite and friendly manner, assists with product selection, promotes products and services, helps customers locate merchandise, supports purchase decisions, and resolves concerns or refers them to management when appropriate.
• Maintains strong sales floor standards by stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or expired items, setting up and maintaining displays, and ensuring accurate signing and pricing.
• Receives and stocks merchandise, completes picks and downstocking as required, applies product protection when necessary, and sets and completes modulars, including flex modulars and new shelf caps.
• Ensures proper handling of claims and returns, secures merchandise, identifies high-shrink items, and supports loss prevention efforts in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
• Refers appropriate service and transactional requests to the Customer Service Manager as needed and supports Front End and store operations when required.
• Provides customers with awareness that a dedicated Cosmetics Associate is available to offer guidance, product knowledge, and support within the department.

Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule)

• Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. Your adaptability helps ensure the store runs smoothly and customers receive consistent, high-quality service.

Physical Demands

• Performs physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting inventory, equipment, or supplies weighing up to 20 lbs., and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Performs repetitive tasks such as stocking, zoning, and organizing products with attention to detail and consistency to uphold store standards.
