Walmart Canada in Surrey, BC is seeking a Consumables Associate to support department processes and lead with the Consumables Assistant Manager to deliver outstanding customer service while ensuring task completion. You will help promote products, assist customers with purchases, and maintain presentation standards across the consumables area.

The role includes coordinating daily tasks, assisting in scheduling, assigning associates for coverage, and participating in training to develop staff.

Responsabilités

• Providing excellent Customer Service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise and making purchase decisions, resolving customer issues and referring concerns where appropriate.
• Assists in providing direction and the co-ordination of task completion as per communicated priorities from the Consumables Assistant Manager and the Store Management Team.
• Assesses the overall presentation of Consumable Departments and appearance, noting deficiencies for corrective action and executes merchandising display changes where required.
• Delegate, assist and follow up on completion of daily Customer Availability Process tasks
• Support with scheduling as needed
• Assign Associates to support with coverage and availability tasks in all areas of the store
• Participates in the training and development of the Consumable Associates, and provides feedback as needed.
• Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure and free of debris.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $21.50.
