Job summary

Walmart in Sorel-Tracy, QC is hiring for an overnight stocking leadership role. You will help lead the stocking teams, coordinate tasks, and support department processes to meet workload demands.

You will train associates, conduct daily huddles, ensure secure displays and safety compliance, and assist in recruiting new team members. The role requires 18+ with strong communication and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate tasks from the General Merchandise Coach and Store Management.
• Assess department presentation and execute merchandising changes as needed.
• Lead daily team huddles, share updates, set goals and monitor productivity.
• Secure high-ticket items and ensure doors/lockups are closed when not in use; perform audits.
• Review schedules with People Lead and adjust as required.
• Walk areas with Coach to identify training opportunities and develop associates.
• Maintain a safe, clean, hazard-free environment per policy and complete safety logs.
• Complete GTA/Workday tasks and assist Management.
• Support recruitment and hiring of new associates; growth conversations with staff.

Position Summary...

Assists in the leadership of the overnight stocking teams and department processes, respond to problems and inquiries and develop associates through teaching and training.
Plans and executes department activities based on workload and operational functions and assists on the salesfloor as required.

What you'll do...

1. Assists in providing direction and the co-ordination of task completion as per communicated priorities from the General Merchandise Coach and the Store Management Team.
2. Assesses the overall presentation of store departments and appearance, noting deficiencies for corrective action and executing merchandising display changes where required.
3. Ensures strong communication with associates, leads the daily Team Huddle at the start of each shift and provide the team with updates, set goals, and track productivity.
4. Ensuring all high ticket merchandise is secured, all doors and lockups are secured when not in use and completing daily audits as per program.
5.Review completed schedules with People Lead.
6. Tours assigned areas with the Coach and team associates to validate and identify training opportunities.Develops associates through teaching and training and provides feedback as needed.
7. Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.
8. Complete GTA/Workday tasks and supports Management
9. Partner with Coach/People Lead to facilitate performance management and growth conversations for Associates. Supports recruiting and hiring new associates.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $21.85.
