Job summary

Walmart Canada in Longueuil seeks a role to assist in leading overnight stocking teams and department processes. You will respond to problems, train associates, and plan activities based on workload.

You will also support on the salesfloor as needed and coordinate tasks per guidance from store leadership. The role includes leading daily huddles, ensuring secure display and merchandise, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment.

• Plan and execute department activities based on workload and operational functions and assist on the salesfloor as required.
• Provide direction and coordinate task completion as per priorities from the General Merchandise Coach and Store Management Team.
• Assess store department presentation and merchandising, and implement changes as needed.
• Lead daily team huddles, communicate updates, set goals, and track productivity.
• Ensure high-ticket merchandise is secured, doors and lockups are secured when not in use, and complete daily audits.
• Review schedules with People Lead and identify training opportunities with coaches and associates.
• Contribute to a safe, clean, hazard-free work environment and follow safety policies.
• Complete GTA/Workday tasks and support Management.
• Partner with Coach/People Lead on performance development and recruitment of new associates.

Position Summary

What You'll Do

• Assists in providing direction and the co-ordination of task completion as per communicated priorities from the General Merchandise Coach and the Store Management Team.
• Assesses the overall presentation of store departments and appearance, noting deficiencies for corrective action and executing merchandising display changes where required.
• Ensures strong communication with associates, leads the daily Team Huddle at the start of each shift and provide the team with updates, set goals, and track productivity.
• Ensuring all high ticket merchandise is secured, all doors and lockups are secured when not in use and completing daily audits as per program.
• Review completed schedules with People Lead.
• Tours assigned areas with the Coach and team associates to validate and identify training opportunities. Develops associates through teaching and training and provides feedback as needed.
• Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.
• Complete GTA/Workday tasks and supports Management
• Partner with Coach/People Lead to facilitate performance management and growth conversations for Associates. Supports recruiting and hiring new associates.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $21.85.
