Job summary

Walmart Canada in Niagara Falls is seeking a store associate to welcome customers, process transactions, and support positive shopping experiences. You will assist with alcohol product handling, bagging, and safety practices while upholding register security and company policies.

The role requires the ability to operate a cash register, promote sponsor programs, and refer complex items to a Customer Service Manager as needed. The minimum wage starts at $17.75 per hour in Canada.

• Promotes company sponsor programs, i.e., credit card service, product protection and charity initiatives.
• Assists customers with bagging and loading of merchandise.
• Ensures safe work practices are followed including proper lifting and keeping a clean work area.
• Maintains register security and integrity through diligent cash handling, adherence to relevant company policies and awareness of surroundings.
• Refer appropriate service and transactional items to a Customer Service Manager as required.
