Walmart Canada is seeking a Bakery Associate to deliver exceptional customer service, maintain the bakery area, and support stocking and sales of bakery goods.

You will ensure quality and presentation of bread, cakes, pies and pastries while keeping the department clean, stocked, and properly labeled. This role emphasizes safety, sanitation and accurate pricing in a fast-paced retail environment.

• Ensures quality and visual appearance of Bakery Department merchandise (bread, cakes, pies, cookies, rolls).
• Keeps the department fully stocked and ready for business.
• Ensures merchandise is properly signed and priced.
• Adheres to cold chain, thermometer calibration, temperature recording, food handling, rotation, sell-by and expiration dates.
• Follows food safety, sanitation and cleaning procedures.
• Performs ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels as required.
• Prepares bakery items following thawing and baking guidelines to maintain quality and appearance.
• Ensures all displays are secured safely.

Prepares bakery merchandise by accurately following thawing and baking guidelines to ensure the quality and visual appearance of Bakery Department merchandise, such as bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls.8.
