• Ensures the quality and visual appearance of Bakery Department merchandise; such as bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls.
• Ensures that department is fully stocked with merchandise and is ready for business.

• Adheres to cold chain and food safety standards, thermometer calibrations, and temperature recording.
• Follows sanitation and cleaning procedures and overall food handling policies.
• Handles ordering, clearance, signs, pricing, labels, and markdowns per procedures.
• Prepares bakery items by thawing and baking according to guidelines.
• Keeps displays secured in a safe and proper manner.
