Walmart Canada in Sylvan Lake, AB is hiring a Bakery Associate to deliver friendly customer service and keep the Bakery Department well organized. You will help with stocking, merchandising, and price labeling to ensure a welcoming, clean shopping experience.

The role involves handling baked goods, following food safety and cold-chain procedures, and assisting with ordering and signage to maintain quality displays.

• Adheres to cold chain standards, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, and date labeling.
• Follows food safety and sanitation procedures and cleaning procedures.
• Handles ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, labeling and pricing procedures.
• Prepares bakery merchandise following thawing and baking guidelines for quality displays.
• Ensures all displays are secured safely.

Prepares bakery merchandise by accurately following thawing and baking guidelines to ensure the quality and visual appearance of Bakery Department merchandise, such as bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls.8.
