Job summary

Fueling Brains Academy is hiring 7 energetic Early Childhood Educators (ECE Level 2/3) to join our Campus Float Teacher team across Calgary-area campuses. You’ll provide classroom coverage, support infant to preschool routines, and help maintain safe staffing ratios.

You will travel between campuses, adapt to various classrooms and age groups, assist Lead Teachers with activities and transitions, and ensure a nurturing learning environment in line with Alberta licensing and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Alberta ECE Level 2 or 3 certification required.
• 1–2 years of experience in licensed Canadian childcare.
• Flexibility to travel between campuses.
• Available for varying shifts (early mornings and late afternoons).
• Criminal record check with vulnerable sector search.

Fueling Brains Academy is hiring 7energetic, adaptable, and experienced Early Childhood Educators (ECE Level 2/3) to join our growing Campus Float Teacher team!

WHERE YOU'LL WORK

• West 85th (2 Positions): Supporting Braeside and Walden.
• McKnight (1 Position): Supporting Centennial and Bridgeland.
• New Brighton (1 Position): Supporting Walden.
• Multi-Campus Float Team (3 Positions): Supporting our Calgary and Strathmore academies as needed.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Provide classroom and staffing ratio coverage across assigned campuses.
• Support infants, toddlers, and preschoolers with daily routines and learning activities.
• Assist Lead Teachers with classroom activities, transitions, and supervision.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
• Adapt confidently to different classrooms, age groups, and campus teams.
• Follow childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Alberta ECE Level 2 or Level 3 certification - Mandatory.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a licensed childcare setting in Canada - Mandatory.
• Flexibility to travel between assigned campuses.
• Availability for varying shifts, including early mornings and late afternoons.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and classroom management skills.
• Valid criminal record check with vulnerable sector search.
• Emergency Child Care First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain within three months.
