Job summary

The University of New Brunswick's Capital Planning & Operations team in Fredericton is seeking an Equipment Operator for a full-time 1-year term. You will operate heavy and light equipment, perform pre-start checks, and assist with grounds and facilities maintenance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy and light equipment (front-end loaders, backhoes, trucks, MTs) safely on varied terrain.
• Perform pre-operational checks, routine maintenance, and basic repairs.
• Deliver and set up furniture and assist with loads and unloading.
• Snow plowing, salting, and general grounds maintenance duties.
• Operate vehicles delivering materials to campus buildings.
