Job summary

Peter Lucas Project Management Inc. is seeking a Site Superintendent for a major brownfield expansion at an operating gold processing facility near Prince George, BC.

You will lead multiple crews and coordinate concrete and civil activities, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence on a dynamic, high-risk site. This full-time, camp-based role offers a rotational shift, paid travel, and growth opportunities within mining and heavy industrial construction.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Site Superintendent or senior field leadership role.
• Experience delivering major concrete, civil, mining, or heavy industrial projects.
• Proven ability to lead multiple crews across large multi-area projects.
• Willingness to work a rotational schedule in a camp-based environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong day-to-day field leadership across multiple crews and work fronts.
• Coordinate construction activities and sequencing throughout the process plant.
• Manage manpower, equipment, materials, and engineering requirements.
• Oversee concrete and civil construction activities: foundations, slabs, walls, equipment foundations, structural concrete.
• Coordinate reinforcing steel, formwork, embedded items, anchor bolts, liners, drainage, electrical conduit, and mechanical piping.
• Plan and coordinate concrete pours to align resources and personnel.
• Monitor progress, productivity, quality, and schedule performance.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure safe execution.
• Identify field issues and coordinate timely solutions to maintain progress.
• Ensure activities meet specifications, safety, and quality standards.
• Conduct ongoing field planning as activities expand.
