Job summary

Peter Lucas Project Management Inc. is seeking an experienced Site Superintendent for a major industrial project near Prince George, BC. You will lead field crews, coordinate sequencing, and ensure safe, on-time delivery of concrete and civil works.

The role requires strong leadership, a track record delivering large-scale projects in mining or heavy industrial sectors, and the ability to work in a camp-based, rotational schedule with paid travel.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in site supervision or senior field leadership.
• Proven delivery of major concrete, civil, mining, or heavy industrial projects.
• Strong ability to lead multiple crews and coordinate field teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day field leadership across multiple crews and fronts.
• Coordinate construction activities and sequencing throughout the plant.
• Manage manpower, equipment, materials, and engineering needs.
• Oversee concrete and civil construction works, including foundations.
• Coordinate formwork, steel, anchors, liners, drainage, and piping.
• Plan concrete pours ensuring resources align with schedule.
• Monitor progress, productivity, quality, and schedule performance.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors.
• Identify field issues and coordinate solutions to maintain progress.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with specifications.
• Contribute to ongoing field planning as teams expand.
• Promote a strong safety culture across all fronts.
