Job summary

GrizzlyTrek Group Ltd. is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator (Excavator) for long-term rotational camp work in Alberta. You will operate 336 and 470 class excavators on heavy civil earthworks, with flights from Calgary or Edmonton and camp accommodations provided.

The role requires at least 3 years of recent seat time on the specified machines, plus required safety tickets. Wages start at $35–$40 per hour, with 12-hour day and night shifts on a 14/7 or 21/7 rotation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years recent seat time on 336 and 470 class excavators.
• Experience with overburden stripping, stockpiling, and reclamation.
• Valid safety tickets: CSO, BSO, CSTS-09 or OSSA Regional, H2S Alive, First Aid with CPR/AED, Ground Disturbance, Bear Awareness.

Responsibilities

• Operate 336 and 470 class excavators for earthmoving and grading.
• Build lease pads, roads, and install culverts per plans and specs.
• Work reclamation, ice road construction, and variable ground conditions.
