Job summary

A leading inspection company is seeking a self-motivated and safety-oriented Call out -Certified Exposure Device Operator to join their team in Edmonton, Canada. The role includes performing radiographic inspections, maintaining safety regulations, and mentoring assistant crew members. Qualified candidates will hold a CEDO Certification and have a minimum of two years of experience with necessary safety certifications. This position offers competitive compensation with various responsibilities in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years of experience in a relevant field.
• Must have safety certifications prior to employment: H2S Alive, Emergency First Aid, CSO, Confined Space Entry, OSSA Fall Protection.
• IRATA Rope Access certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform Radiography to inspect materials or components for flaws utilizing gamma rays.
• Conduct radiographic inspections to detect defects in materials, parts, or structures.
• Maintain safe work practices, particularly when handling radioactive substances.

Skills

CEDO Certification

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work independently

Strong attention to detail

Basic CR Techniques

Experience working in confined spaces

Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Access)
