Job summary

Hirez Manpower Solutions Inc. in Calgary, Alberta is hiring Line Cooks and Prep Cooks for hospitality employers. Location: Calgary, Alberta. Employment: Full-Time | Permanent. Pay: $18.50 – $22.00/hour plus tips and overtime.

If you have 6 months of culinary-related experience or education and can work evenings, weekends, and holidays, we want to hear from you. Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of relevant experience OR education in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, Food Services, or a related field
• Previous Line Cook, Prep Cook, Cook, or kitchen experience is an asset
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Functional French and English language ability is an asset
• Availability for flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and kitchen standards
• Assist with food preparation, portioning, and plating
• Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures
• Keep kitchen stations clean, organized, and ready for service
• Work with chefs and kitchen staff to maintain smooth operations
• Assist with ingredient preparation and inventory needs
• Maintain speed and accuracy during busy service periods
