Spicers-Canada is seeking a motivated Full-Time Driver in Calgary, Alberta. Report to the Warehouse and Distribution Manager; responsibilities include routing, loading/unloading deliveries, and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class 5 (or 3) driver’s license.
• Experience driving delivery routes in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Forklift certification and safety training.
• WHMIS and TDG certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assemble delivery invoices in route order and prepare for delivery.
• Load truck and unload boxes at customer sites, ensuring accuracy.
• Verify stock against charge sheets and maintain staging area organization.
• Perform pre-departure safety checks on vehicles and report issues.
• Maintain manifests and update computer records after trips.
• Obtain customer signatures as proof of delivery and on returns.
• Keep truck cab and box clean; maintain a tidy staging area.
• Follow health and safety policies; perform other duties as assigned.
