Job summary

Airborne Imaging, a Forsite company, seeks a senior Project Manager and LiDAR Data Deliverable Specialist to lead end-to-end LiDAR deliverable production from intake through final delivery. You will coordinate across acquisition, processing, and QA teams while acting as the primary client-facing contact, ensuring deliverables meet specifications under tight schedules.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of hands-on experience in LiDAR deliverable production with progression to lead/management
• Deep familiarity with LiDAR deliverable formats (LAS/LAZ, DEMs/DSMs)
• Proficiency with TerraScan in a production context
• Strong knowledge of datums and coordinate reference systems (NAD83, NAD83(CSRS), UTM)
• Proven track record in high-volume, deadline-driven workflows
• Excellent written and verbal communication, client-facing presence

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple LiDAR deliverable projects from intake to final acceptance
• Prepare LiDAR deliverables from classified point cloud using internal tools and GIS packages
• Serve as primary client-facing representative for scoping, updates, issues, and sign-off
• Review QA LiDAR data products against specs, standards, and contracts
• Coordinate with processing teams to meet format, datum, projection, and classification requirements
• Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and risk communications
• Author and review technical documentation, delivery reports, and metadata
• Support continuous improvement of production workflows and deliverable standards
