Job summary

NES Fircroft in Calgary, AB invites applications for an SCM Procurement Analyst. The role supports Maintenance, Operations, and Site Services, reporting to the Team Lead, SCM Procurement.

The contractor will source and procure materials and services, collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers, and contribute to cost-effective, compliant procurement solutions. 1-year contract with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Supplier Management.
• Strong knowledge of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, supply chain management practices, performance metrics, and reporting.
• Experience using SAP and Ariba systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build effective working relationships and collaborate across multiple stakeholder groups.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on compliance, governance, and process improvement.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
• Legally entitled to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Source, procure, and expedite external goods and services through approved channels to meet operational requirements.
• Provide guidance regarding purchasing policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Recommend and implement procurement strategies based on business needs and value.
• Execute RFx development, evaluation, award, and closeout processes.
• Collaborate with the SCM Service Center to resolve pricing and PO issues.
• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics to ensure timely receipt of goods.
• Support alignment between Preventive Maintenance and MRP processes.
• Develop and maintain positive supplier relationships and liaison with stakeholders.
• Support Category Management in sourcing initiatives and cost reduction opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with SCM policies and Ethics standards.
