Job summary

ICS West Ltd. in Edmonton, AB is seeking friendly, customer‑focused staff for cafe service. You will welcome customers, take orders and payments, prepare beverages, and help with display cases, maintaining high food-safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School or GED preferred.
• 2+ years in fast-paced customer service.
• 1+ years in a café environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers to the café and accepting orders and payments.
• Answering customer questions by highlighting differences between items and brew methods.
• Using manual and electrical appliances to prepare coffee.
• Preparing and packaging foods such as sandwiches, baked goods, and gelato.
• Taking inventory and replenishing items in display cases, at tables, or behind the counter.
• Cleaning work and dining areas; cleaning tables, emptying trash, and sanitizing equipment and utensils.
• Promoting products and services that the Italian Centre Shop offers.
• Follow company's food safety standards.
• Working as part of a fun, high-energy team.
• Other duties as required.

What You'll Be Doing

We are willing to train the right candidate,but most successful candidates have these:

• High School or GED from an accredited school system or program is preferred
• 2+ years of experience in a fast-pacedcustomer service role
• 1+ years of experience in a caféenvironment
