Job summary

EnVision Consultants Ltd. is seeking an experienced CAD Technician to join our Land Development team in Mississauga.

You will utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D to prepare drawings and perform earthworks modeling, collaborating with multiple disciplines on diverse infrastructure projects. The role requires a Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or Engineering Design and Drafting, at least 2 years of AutoCAD drafting experience, and a valid G license with vehicle access for site travel.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or Engineering Design and Drafting.
• At least 2 years of AutoCAD drafting/design experience.
• Knowledge in AutoCAD and Civil3D software.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; respond to time-sensitive issues.
• Valid G license and access to a vehicle for site travel.

Responsibilities

• Utilizing AutoCAD and Civil 3D knowledge on projects from concept to completion.
• Preparing engineering drawings to specified standards.

Salary Range: $60,000.00 To $85,000.00 Annually

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in AutoCAD drafting and design
• Knowledge in AutoCAD and Civil3D software
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively, and to proactively respond to time-sensitive issues
• A valid G license and access to a vehicle to travel to and from sites (mileage to sites compensated), including valid and appropriate vehicle insurance
