Job summary

Nord Quantique is seeking an experienced drafting professional to prepare engineering designs and drawings at our Sherbrooke facility. You will read blueprints, develop sketches, and ensure documentation packages meet project requirements.

The role requires 5+ years in drafting with proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks, plus strong communication and teamwork. Willingness to relocate to Quebec is essential for this on-site position.

Qualifications

• College/CEGEP diploma or certificate program (1–2 years) required.
• Experience in mechanical drafting/technologies preferred.
• Willing to relocate to the job site in Sherbrooke, QC.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering designs and drawings.
• Read blueprints to determine work requirements.
• Develop and prepare design sketches.
• Write technical reports.
• Complete documentation packages and drawing sets.
• Examine drawings for conformity and errors.
