Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a capable Warehouse Associate in Burnaby to pull orders, load and unload trucks, and maintain high accuracy in all tasks. You will use forklifts or pallet jacks as trained, while upholding safety standards and excellent service to crews and productions.

Responsabilités

• Pull orders, load, and unload trucks with accuracy.
• Complete assignments and special projects from Supervisor, Cable.
• Report equipment defects or damage to Supervisor, Cable.
• Identify sub-rental equipment and relocate to appropriate area.
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts safely after training.
• Keep warehouse walkways clear and shelves organized.
• Provide high-level customer service to productions and crew.
• Comply with WCB requirements and safety protocols.
• Contribute to cost reduction wherever possible.
• Perform other duties as required.

Job Description Summary Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Pull orders, load, and unload trucks. Ensure all counts are performed to the highest standards of accuracy.
• Complete assignments and special projects delegated by the Supervisor, Cable.
• Advise the Supervisor, Cable of any equipment defects or damage.
• Identify sub-rental equipment and relocate to relevant area.
• Operate pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and forklifts safely (once trained)
• Keep warehouse walkways clear and shelves organized.
• Provide the highest level of customer service to productions and crew.
• Comply with WCB requirements.
• Reduce costs whenever and wherever possible.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• This is a physically demanding job. Job holder will be given full training, as well as instruction in safe working practices and proper lifting techniques.
• The successful candidate will be provided with forklift training and will be expected to operate a forklift, or pallet jack when required.
• Must have the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Must have excellent communication and numeric skills.

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job. Base Pay Range 23.35 - 32.09 Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
