Responsibilities

• Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products; prepare and apply laminated plastics.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in English language.
• The candidate must have a Registered Apprenticeship certificate.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must have Cabinetmaker Trade Certification and Joiner (Cabinetmaker) Trade Certification.
• The candidate must be able to handle weight up to 45 kg (100 lbs).

Work setting

• The candidate’s relocation costs should not be covered by the employer; if the company does not provide a relocation package, you may request an advance on your earnings to cover some of your moving expenses.

• The candidate should work in a custom cabinet shop to install kitchen and bathroom cabinets and fittings to new or renovation work and shop fittings.
• The candidate must work in a millwork shop.
• The candidate should work in residential settings, performing work on one, two, and three-family dwellings.
