Job Description:
We are looking for a talented and experienced Cabinet Maker to join our team. As a Cabinet Maker, you will be responsible for creating custom cabinetry for kitchens, bathrooms, offices, and other spaces. You will work with a variety of materials, including wood, laminate, and MDF, to craft high-quality and precise cabinets and furniture pieces.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and install custom cabinets for residential and commercial projects
- Use woodworking machinery and hand tools to cut, shape, and assemble cabinetry components
- Measure and cut materials to precise specifications
- Finish and apply coatings to cabinet surfaces, including sanding, painting, or staining
- Install cabinetry on-site and make any necessary adjustments or repairs
- Work with clients to meet specific design and functionality requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment
- Adhere to safety standards and building codes
- Troubleshoot and resolve design and construction issues
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker (minimum of 1 year)
- Expertise in woodworking, including cutting, shaping, and finishing wood products
- Ability to read and interpret detailed design plans and blueprints
- Proficient in the use of woodworking machines, hand tools, and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good physical stamina and ability to work in various environments
- Strong communication skills for client interaction and collaboration
- High school diploma or equivalent; formal woodworking training or apprenticeship is a plus
- Knowledge of cabinet installation and repair techniques
