Job summary

An established industry player in high-end residential millwork is seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker to join their dynamic team. This role involves setting up and operating various woodworking equipment to craft custom cabinetry that meets the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking techniques, experience in a millwork shop, and the ability to read blueprints. Qualifications

Job description

Woodmeister is a high-end residential Millwork, Construction and Lifestyle Management company, providing fine quality custom cabinetry, architectural woodworking, home building, and residential management services for discerning clientele. We are proud of our unparalleled commitment to craftsmanship.

We are looking to add a Cabinetmaker to our busy millwork shop. The Cabinetmaker works from specifications and is responsible to set up and operate power saws, joiners, planes, mortisers and other woodworking equipment to create custom cabinets and millwork to exacting quality standards.

Requirements include:

  • Three to five years' experience in a millwork shop.
  • Mechanically inclined individual who likes to work with his / her hands.
  • Thorough understanding of woodworking techniques, including solid wood and other materials, methods and tools involved in the layout and construction of high-end custom cabinetry.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Excellent measurement and math skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written (mainly email).
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Trade school grad a plus.
