Job summary

A cabin service and cleaning attendant role with Air Canada is based in Vancouver, BC, on-site. You will prepare aircraft for departure, keeping cleanliness and safety as top priorities while supporting timely turnarounds.

Job description

Location: Vancouver, BC, Canada (on-site) Starting Salary: $22.00/hour - Up to $33.36 after 9 years of continuous service, as provided in the applicable collective agreement. Department: In-Flight Service Category: Unionized (IAMAW) Shift Premium: Evening shifts (between 6 p.m. and 11 p.m.) - $1.00 per hour. Night shifts (between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m.) - $1.50 per hour

Air Canada is currently seeking Cabin Service and Cleaning Attendants to join its ground service team. This role consists of ensuring that the aircraft is ready for departure time and is safe. To achieve this objective, cleaning attendants must be quick, meticulous, and efficient so that passengers can experience an enjoyable and comfortable flight. What your day-to-day looks like

As a Cabin Service and Cleaning Attendant, you will play an important role in ensuring our aircraft are ready for departure on time and safely. You will also be required to;

• Equip the aircraft cabin for flight with cabin service supplies.
• Clean and examine the interior of aircraft
• Vacuum the floor, clean surfaces, and replace headrests.
• Fill seat pockets with magazines and safety information.
