Job summary

HelloFresh is seeking a full-time Production Supervisor in the Edmonton area to oversee production flow, scheduling, and on-time shipment while upholding quality standards.

You will report to the Production Manager and guide the team to meet budgets and safety requirements. The ideal candidate is analytical, process-driven, and proactive with a strong focus on customer experience through accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related management experience.
• 2–3 years of production management experience in a fulfillment/distribution center.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and G-Suite.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage production plans and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly and daily production plans for designated work areas.
• Execute production plans and communicate/track issues.
• Drive accuracy in ingredient quality, pick, and ship-out times.
• Develop and apply production cost techniques for tasks.
• Monitor schedules, start/dismiss times, and daily activities.
• Maintain GMP and housekeeping for a safe work environment.
• Coordinate with ops, suppliers, and contractors on corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with OH&S regulations.
• Use PPE and report hazards.

Shift: Friday to Tuesday (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM) - flexibility required based on business needs

We are looking for a full-time Production Supervisor to join our team! You will report to the Production Manager and will be responsible for managing production flow and scheduling as well as ensuring the product is shipped out on time, including adhering and ensuring to quality standards. The ideal candidate is a curious, analytical, and process-driven problem-solver.

Lettuce Share What This Role Will Be Responsible For

• Prepare weekly and daily production plans for designated work areas.
• Ensure production plans are executed and that all issues are communicated and tracked.
• Drive customer experience through low error rates on ingredient quality, pick accuracy, and ship-out time.
• Along with the rest of the Operations team, build and implement production cost techniques that can be applied in production tasks and assembly.
• Monitor production plans, start times, dismissal times, and additional daily activities.
• Maintain high standards of Good Manufacturing Procedures and housekeeping in the production facility to ensure a safe work environment.
• Establish and work within budget as permitted by the Production Manager.
• Use designated technology to assure quality/accuracy of shipped product as well as efficient customer service.
• Review customer error calls relevant to production to measure & track quality, accuracy, and pick metrics along with identifying error trends to improve defined metrics
• Conduct daily 5S, process, and facility readiness checks
• Coordinate with ops team, suppliers, and contractors to implement corrective & preventive action plan
• Work in compliance with OH&S acts and regulations.
• Use personal protective and safety equipment and clothing as directed by the employer and report workplace hazards and dangers to the supervisor or employer.
• Other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree or related management work experience.
• 2-3 years of experience managing production in a fulfillment/distribution center; preferably within the Food & Beverage industry.
• Quantitative and analytical experience – must have proficiency using MS Excel and G-Suite Apps.

Salary: $54,600—$64,600 CAD
