Job Summary:
Person responsible for managing all or part of the purchasing activities required by the organization. The buyer receives and reviews purchase requisitions and identifies potential sources of supply. They prepare requests for proposals (RFPs) or tenders, analyze bids, and determine the most advantageous offers. They place orders for goods and supplies and verify delivery documentation. The buyer meets with suppliers and maintains up-to-date pricing lists and product catalogs.

Required Qualifications:
Vocational Diploma (DEP) in Administration or a related field.
Minimum of one year of experience in procurement or purchasing.
Knowledge of inventory management, supply chain operations, and procurement processes.
Experience with tendering, contract document preparation, and selection committee coordination.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and procurement software.
Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written.
Strong organizational skills, autonomy, teamwork, and professional judgment.
Familiarity with SEAO, CAG, Workday, Edilex, Lean/Kanban principles, and continuous improvement practices is an asset.
