L’acheteur ou l’acheteuse reçoit et vérifie les demandes d’achat et recherche les sources d’approvisionnement potentielles. Il ou elle prépare les appels d’offres, analyse les soumissions reçues et sélectionne les offres les plus avantageuses. Il ou elle effectue les commandes de biens et de fournitures et vérifie les bons de livraison. L’acheteur ou l’acheteuse rencontre les fournisseurs et veille à la mise à jour des listes de prix et des catalogues.
Diplôme d’études professionnelles (DEP) en administration ou domaine pertinent. Minimum d’un an d’expérience en approvisionnement ou achats. Connaissance de la gestion des stocks, de la chaîne logistique et des processus d’approvisionnement. Expérience en appels d’offres, rédaction de documents contractuels et coordination de comités de sélection. Maîtrise de Microsoft 365 et des logiciels d’approvisionnement. Bilinguisme (français et anglais, parlé et écrit). Bonnes aptitudes en organisation, autonomie, travail d’équipe et jugement professionnel. Connaissance de SEAO, CAG, Workday, Edilex, Lean/Kanban et de l’amélioration continue (atouts).
Job Summary : Person responsible for managing all or part of the purchasing activities required by the organization. The buyer receives and reviews purchase requisitions and identifies potential sources of supply. They prepare requests for proposals (RFPs) or tenders, analyze bids, and determine the most advantageous offers. They place orders for goods and supplies and verify delivery documentation. The buyer meets with suppliers and maintains up-to-date pricing lists and product catalogs.
Vocational Diploma (DEP) in Administration or a related field. Minimum of one year of experience in procurement or purchasing. Knowledge of inventory management, supply chain operations, and procurement processes. Experience with tendering, contract document preparation, and selection committee coordination. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and procurement software. Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written. Strong organizational skills, autonomy, teamwork, and professional judgment. Familiarity with SEAO, CAG, Workday, Edilex, Lean/Kanban principles, and continuous improvement practices is an asset.
