C&A Group in Lethbridge, Alberta is hiring a Shipper/Receiver Assistant to join our Operations team. This hands-on role supports receiving, storage, inventory control, and shipment of materials that power projects across Western Canada.

It’s ideal for someone who enjoys physical work and staying organized while building a rewarding logistics career. You will inspect and label incoming items, prepare outgoing shipments, load and unload trucks, assist with counts, and help maintain a clean, safe

Qualifications

• Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform physical work and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, label, and organize incoming materials and supplies.
• Prepare and package outgoing shipments for customers, vendors, and project sites.
• Load and unload trucks using material handling equipment.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock organization.
• Stage materials for production and project requirements.
• Maintain clean and organized warehouse and yard areas.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, telehandlers, and company vehicles when trained and authorized.
• Support daily housekeeping and 5S initiatives.
• Assist with yard maintenance, snow removal, and general shop upkeep.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures while contributing to a strong safety culture.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical work and lift up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Warehouse, shipping, receiving, manufacturing, or logistics experience
• Forklift and/or telehandler experience
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Experience with shipping documentation, packing slips, and inventory records
