Position Overview:

Responsible for a variety of CAT parts ordering, sourcing, and data maintenance activities to ensure efficient and effective sourcing of CAT goods. This includes managing procurement records, ensuring compliance with policies, and making accurate, cost-effective, and timely sourcing decisions that prioritize company and customer needs.

Job Description:

1. Order products from CAT to fulfill customer requirements, optimizing sourcing by evaluating inventory and considering lead times. Collaborate with branch stakeholders to recommend stocking decisions based on customer needs and urgency.
2. Reporting and Data Integrity: Generate procurement reports, follow up on delays and errors, investigate inventory issues, and recommend improvements.
3. Record cleanup: Regularly review and update data in systems like Infor and PartViz to maintain accuracy.
4. Execute supply chain tasks promptly and accurately using the ticketing tool.
5. Support and improve parts procedures and supply chain performance across departments.
6. Collaborate proactively with inventory planners, supervisors, and other teams to resolve issues, develop solutions, and enhance supply chain efficiency. Provide backup support during high volume or absence periods.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Excellent communication, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Customer focus, problem-solving ability, attention to detail, adaptability, and dedication.
• Proficiency in MS Office (advanced in Excel) and internal systems.
• Understanding of procurement, expediting, and supply chain management, especially in heavy equipment or related industries.

Education & Experience:

• Experience in service, parts, or CAT products, with knowledge of Finning roles preferred.
• Post-secondary education in Operations, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Lawson/MRP systems and exposure to logistics, warehousing, contracts, or sourcing is advantageous.
