Responsibilities

The Bio-Med Buyer is responsible for purchasing equipment, supplies, and services using computerized systems. Responsibilities include inventory control, vendor communication, prioritizing duties, processing purchase orders and invoices, developing sources of supply, negotiating prices, and maintaining records. Duties also involve preparing tender documents, developing policies, disposing of obsolete equipment, and maintaining files and catalogues.

Qualifications

Education, Experience, Training:

• 1 year’s experience as a Buyer preferred
• Knowledge of equipment and supply acquisition policies
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Strong planning, organization, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
• Analytical, mathematical, decision-making, and negotiating skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office

BioMedical Services, Inc. offers competitive compensation and benefits, including paid time off, 401K, medical, dental, vision, tuition reimbursement, and voluntary options. The estimated total compensation range is $22.50 to $30.28 per hour, with the final offer based on experience and qualifications.
