The Buyer provides leadership to the TVDSB in the procurement of commodities and services, assists in the development and execution of policies and procedures. The Buyer provides exceptional customer service to staff /outside agencies. The Buyer provides direction to the Purchasing Assistants, Purchasing Services.

The recruitment process requires a criminal background check for work with vulnerable persons at your own expense. In accordance with regulations, this will be an ongoing expectation of employment for TVDSB employees every five years of employment.
This position will be posted outside the jurisdiction of the Association of Administrative Professional and Support Personnel; however, first consideration will be given to permanent members of AAPSP.
