Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a Buyer in Calgary, AB to join our procurement team. The role focuses on maintaining purchase order integrity, ensuring vendor quality compliance, and supporting the procurement lifecycle.

You will generate and review POs, manage ERP-driven processes, collaborate with supplier quality assurance, and build long-term supplier relationships while keeping deliveries on track. This contract position is fully onsite in Calgary, with a pay range of $31.25–$36.05 per hour.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a buyer/procurement role, including dealing with suppliers, POs, expediting, and PO invoice reconciliation.
• ERP systems experience required.
• Intermediate Excel with pivot tables and formulas.

Responsibilities

Job Description: Join one of Canada's largest growing companies as a Buyer within our dynamic procurement team. The Buyer will be integral to maintaining purchase order integrity, ensuring vendor compliance with quality standards, and supporting the procurement lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of experience in a buyer or procurement position, including dealing with suppliers, managing purchase orders, expediting, and PO invoice reconciliation.
• Experience using ERP systems.
• Intermediate Excel skills, including proficiency in pivot tables and formulas.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in the manufacturing industry
• Post‑secondary degree in supply chain management or a related field.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $36.05/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
