Job summary

Village Wellth, a tech-enabled platform helping Canadians buy businesses, seeks a Buy-Side M&A Advisor who provides transaction judgment, structuring, modelling, and diligence while coaching clients through high-stakes processes. Qualifications

• 5+ years in M&A advisory, investment banking, PE, corporate development, or transaction services.
• Strong modelling skills and ability to structure and value deals.
• Experience negotiating LOIs and transaction documents.
• Ability to coach clients through complex, high-stakes processes.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate acquisition targets surfaced through sourcing and client pipelines; shape deals.
• Guide clients through LOI negotiation, prepare positions, and engage advisors.
• Structure deals, terms, and pricing to satisfy client, seller, and lender.
• Build and maintain financial models on the platform to drive go/no-go and offers.
• Lead diligence workstreams and flag risks affecting terms or valuation.
• Test financeability with Debt Advisor to avoid non-financeable terms.
• Keep clients informed on status, risks, and next steps.
