Concord Hospitality is hiring a Restaurant Busser / Food Runner in Calgary. You will support the dining room by maintaining clean tables and assisting servers to ensure a smooth guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Clear, wipe down and reset tables between guests.
• Maintain station cleanliness and stocked silverware, napkins and condiments.

• Assist servers with food service duties and delivering items to tables.
• Transport dirty dishes to the dishwashing area for cleaning.
• Support safety and health standards and follow supervisor instructions.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and guest satisfaction.

OUR ROLE

We are in search of a customer service-focused, professional Busser / Food Runnerresponsible for providing a clean and pleasant dining experience by clearing, sanitizing or resetting tables and ensuring that the restaurant is well stocked with necessary items such as silverware, plates, napkins, and cups of water glasses, while assisting servers with various food service duties.

Key accountabilities include:

Consistently deliver exceptional service to guests and fellow associates.

Quickly clean dirty table settings and prepare table for resetting. Promptly and consistently reset tables with spotless service ware.

Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment including silverware, linen and condiments.

Greet guests in a pleasant and courteous manner, serve beverages, breads and butter to begin their dining experience and replenish as necessary.

Transport all dirty tableware from dining room to dishwashing area for proper cleaning.

Perform general cleaning tasks, using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards.

Fold napkins for all meal periods throughout the day to maintain an adequate supply, restocking condiments, etc.

Perform other duties as requested, such as cleaning unexpected spills, tending to guest special requests and cross‑training, to ensure total guest satisfaction.

Endeavor to work in a unified and collaborative way -- one that fosters teamwork.

Follow all safety and security policies and procedures, report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions.

Physically able to stand and walk for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 lbs.
