Our core corporate functions (Finance, Supply Chain) are critical to Lyft’s success. The Business Systems Engineer supports Lyft’s Corporate systems, managing performance, incidents, monitoring, workflows, software development, configuration, training, and security.

Responsibilities:

  1. Techno-Functional professional with 5+ years in ERP Financials, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing implementations (e.g., Oracle ERP Cloud).
  2. Experience with Oracle Financials & Supply Chain applications: Plan to Manufacture, Source to Pay, etc.
  3. Gathering business requirements, process design, configuration, testing, and training.
  4. Translate customer requirements into Oracle Cloud ERP solutions.
  5. Knowledge of Accounting and Business Processes.
  6. Experience with Data migration (FBDI).
  7. Design custom solutions using Oracle best practices.
  8. Coordinate design, development, and testing activities.
  9. Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, BI, OTBI, BICC reports.
  10. Collaborate with users on process enhancements.
  11. Strong communication, problem-solving, troubleshooting skills.
  12. Maintain system documentation and requirements.
  13. Work with stakeholders to understand and prioritize needs.
  14. Monitor infrastructure and platform performance.
  15. Manage software deployment, upgrades, patches, incidents.
  16. Manage Cloud environments for development, testing, production.
  17. Identify optimization opportunities and contribute to improvements.
  18. Develop implementation plans, conduct stakeholder meetings, and workshops.
  19. Perform system audits for compliance.
  20. Employ agile methodology for development and configuration.

Experience:

  1. 5+ years in IT systems and deep domain knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud.
  2. Understanding of software development lifecycle.
  3. Experience with project management and planning.
  4. Ability to translate business problems into requirements.
  5. Experience with scripting languages like Python for automation.
  6. Knowledge of enterprise backup, recovery, performance, virtualization, cloud storage, content delivery, and remote replication.
