Job Description: Deliverables:- Gather, document and organize business requirements: Be responsible for gathering, through workshops and focused interviews with the business owner as well as technical SMEs, all business requirements and processes.
- Where needed, create new or update any existing business requirements and/or technical documents to reflect current requirements.
- Any existing documentation that is available, will be provided.
- Deliverable Format: Microsoft Word and Microsoft Visio as required.
- Approval: Business Owner/Manager.
- Current State documentation (including process maps): Working with IT Staff, this role will be responsible to identify and document a system's current state, including workflows, processes, data diagrams and what activities occur within that system (functional and non-functional), including reporting, interfaces and security.
- Deliverable Format: Microsoft Word and Microsoft Visio as required, possible data diagramming tools.
- Approval: Business Owner/Manager/Senior Technical Analyst.
- Requirements Presentations: Host requirements presentations for business as well as technical SMEs, for acceptance and verification of requirements.
- There could also be a presentation or requirements to the corporate solution architecture services team to initiate solution identification.
- Deliverable Format: Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Visio as required.
- Approval: Business Owner/ Manager.
Mandate Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science or a related discipline and a minimum of seven years of experience in information technology/ information management related work experience. 7 Years
- Demonstrated experience as a Business Systems Analyst including requirements gathering and documentation, developing technical solutions and outlining solutions options and improvements. 5 Years
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral) in English. Yes/No
- Demonstrated experience engaging business and technical subject matter experts to elicit requirements by leading the workshop/discovery sessions, applying critical thinking to identify business requirements and technical capabilities, effective documentation preparation and ability to clearly articulate business system requirements and desired outcomes. 5 Years
- Demonstrated experience in producing visual system diagrams that clearly depict the relationships between business functions and develop the business process documents. 5 Years
- Proposals that do not clearly demonstrate the capability to meet these mandatory requirements will be disqualified from further consideration.

- Demonstrated hands-on experience in interviewing by preparing and asking clear and probing questions for requirements gathering. 5 years
- Facilitation skills - Demonstrated experience in arranging and leading workshops for requirements gathering using online or in person tools. 5 years
- Presentation skills - Demonstrated experience in presenting findings, requirements and solution proposals to various business and technical audiences at various levels from line to executive. 5 years
