Job Description:
Deliverables:
- Gather, document and organize business requirements: Be responsible for gathering, through workshops and focused interviews with the business owner as well as technical SMEs, all business requirements and processes.
- Create or update business and technical documentation: Where needed, create new or update existing documents to reflect current requirements. Existing documentation will be provided. Deliverables in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Visio. Approval by Business Owner/Manager.
- Current State documentation: Identify and document system’s current state, including workflows, processes, data diagrams, reporting, interfaces, and security, working with IT staff. Deliverables in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Visio, or other data diagramming tools. Approval by Business Owner/Manager/Senior Technical Analyst.
- Requirements Presentations: Host presentations for business and technical SMEs for acceptance and verification of requirements, possibly involving the corporate solution architecture team. Deliverables in Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Visio. Approval by Business Owner/Manager.
Mandate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, or related discipline, with a minimum of seven years in IT/IM-related work.
- Demonstrated experience as a Business Systems Analyst, including requirements gathering, documentation, developing technical solutions, and outlining options (5+ years).
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral) in XX.
- Experience engaging SMEs through workshops, eliciting requirements, critical thinking, documentation, and articulating system requirements (5+ years).
- Experience producing visual system diagrams and business process documents (5+ years).
