Role Overview

eSentire is seeking a Business Systems Administrator to support our Finance, People, Sales, Marketing and Customer Success teams. This is a hands-on technical position that requires a solid knowledge of business systems with a focus on NetSuite. Our ideal candidate is eager with strong business acumen and a record of delivering scalable, quality technology solutions to business problems.

As the Business Systems Administrator you will act as an internal consultant to our teams applying your problem solving and analytical skills to recommend solutions to support future growth and expansion of our organization. Leveraging your technical skills, you’ll administer, customize, implement, integrate, provide first class support, for our business applications. This role reports directly to the Director, Business Systems Solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional business partners to deliver innovative technical and business process solutions supporting organizational strategy.
• Collect, combine, and interpret data from multiple sources to identify trends, drive efficiencies.
• Maintain applications including releases and upgrades.
• Report and dashboard development
• Configure, test, deploy and own system customizations
• Provide training and ongoing system / technical support to internal users.
• Create process documentation and diagrams.
• Develop, document, and implement policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure data integrity, change management, customization, usage, etc.
• Identify, evaluate, and recommend tools and capabilities required to support and improve our processes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of core system functionality, internal business processes.
• Supporting teams in their use of the systems

Experience & Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience administering and customizing NetSuite.
• Advanced knowledge of NetSuite limitations, tools, features, approaches and security requirements.
• Experience with HRIS, expense and reporting solutions
• Advanced experience working across multiple NetSuite modules and applications is a strong asset.
• Experience integrating systems using ETL Tools.
• A strong understanding of Finance business processes.
• Thorough, with a strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance or as part of a team.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Working knowledge of Power BI, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint.

If the successful candidate lives within 50 km of our office in Waterloo, Ontario this will be a hybrid position (Monday and Friday – work from home, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday – work onsite). If the successful candidate lives more than 50 km from our office in Waterloo this will be a remote position.
