Job summary

Intact is seeking a Business Analyst II, OPL, to join our growing team in a hybrid Canada-wide capacity. In this role you will handle day-to-day system referrals, collaborate with regional teams, monitor trends, and act as a liaison between users and IT.

You’ll test changes and support production systems within the personal insurance domain. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in business analysis, experience with Claims tools, and solid communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience as Business Analyst.
• Experience with Claims tools/processes (Contact Claims and Contact 360).
• Project management experience is an asset.
• Experience in production support.
• Good communication skills (oral and written).
• Knowledge of the Auto & Home insurance industry (asset).
• Eligibility to work in Canada; no Canadian work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Handle and resolve day-to-day system referrals from users in a timely fashion.
• Meet regularly with regional teams to review ongoing system issues.
• Monitor trends to identify opportunities for user training and system changes and enhancements.
• Act as the liaison between users, IT and other departments as required.
• Test system changes.
• Act as a subject matter expert for personal insurance systems.
• Consult on system functionality.
• Support in the analysis of business requirements for changes to existing systems (Bug Fixes).
• Perform any other duties relating to production support as assigned by your manager.

Salary range (but not limited to): 74,800 - 91,400

Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance): 7.5%

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

• Demonstrated Experience with Claims tools/processes (Contact Claims and Contact 360)
• Project management experience, an asset
• Experience in production support
• Strong ability to investigate and analyse problems of a technical nature
• Demonstrated ability to cope with change effectively.
• Have initiative and is autonomous.
• Skills for time and priority management.
• Ability to manage multiple files at the same time.
• Good communication skills (oral and written).
• Knowledge of the Auto & Home insurance industry (asset).
• No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
• For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country
