Business Support Coordinator (13 Month Contract)

Join us to apply for the Business Support Coordinator (13 Month Contract) role at AstraZeneca.

This 13-month contract reports to the Senior Business Support Coordinator/Team Leader and requires proactive collaboration with colleagues within BioPharmaceuticals R&D.

Accountabilities:
  1. Support executives and senior directors with complex calendar management, meetings, events, and travel arrangements according to AZ policies.
  2. Collaborate with Business Support colleagues to deliver consistent, professional global support, including knowledge sharing and training.
  3. Utilize technology effectively to complete tasks and suggest technological solutions.
  4. Assist with projects, ensuring timely delivery and plan adjustments as needed.
  5. Manage own workload independently, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, while developing best practices.
  6. Prepare documents, materials, and official releases for stakeholders.
Essential Requirements:
  • Extensive experience as an Admin Assistant or Executive Assistant.
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional global environment.
  • Strong communication and networking skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and virtual meeting tools.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Stakeholder management and forward-planning abilities.
  • High professionalism and credibility when interacting internally and externally.
  • Open to a hybrid schedule with at least three days in the office weekly.
Desirable Experience:
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
