Role Responsibilities

As the Land Titles Business Services Analyst, you will collaborate with stakeholders to assess business needs, improve workflows and develop practical solutions that enhance service delivery. Reporting to the Manager of System and Analytics, you will analyze data, prepare reports, and apply statistical modelling to identify trends, support evidence-based decisions, and measure operational performance. You will also contribute throughout the project lifecycle by preparing business cases and implementation strategies, managing risks and operational impacts, and supporting testing, documentation, and training. Working closely with IT partners, vendors, and the business areas, you will ensure solutions meet business, legislative, policy, security, privacy and data management requirements.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Business Analysis & Process Improvement.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify, analyze, and document business requirements, workflows, and design concepts.
  • Researching and resolving service delivery issues while identifying opportunities for efficiency, automation, and improved client services.
  • Facilitating stakeholder engagement to ensure acceptance and understanding of proposed changes.
  • Supporting project lifecycle activities, including initiation, planning, execution, and closure, while managing risks, timelines, and business impacts.
  • Developing business cases, implementation strategies, and recommendations aligned with operational and policy requirements.
  • Supporting user acceptance testing, user documentation, and training to ensure system enhancements meet business needs.
  • Ensuring adherence to legislation, policies, and data management best practices.
  • Develop and maintain operational reports, dashboards, and performance measures to support planning, monitoring and decision-making.
  • Apply statistical modelling and analytical techniques to identify trends, forecast outcomes, evaluate service performance, and provide evidence-based recommendations.
  • Liaising with IT partners, vendors, and other business areas to ensure effective collaboration and alignment.

Qualifications

University graduation in Business Administration, Information Systems, Statistics or a related field supplemented by Two (2) years of

  • Demonstrated experience in business analysis, process improvement, and project coordination.
  • Knowledge of data privacy, security standards, and legislative compliance.
  • Proficiency in user acceptance testing, documentation, and training.

Equivalency:

Directly related education and experience may be considered on the basis of:

  • 1 year of education for 1 year of experience or
  • 1 year of experience for 1 year of education

The following will be considered Assets:

  • Experience in land titles, real property systems, or government operations.
  • Familiarity with IT systems development and stakeholder engagement methodologies.
  • Experience applying statistical modelling techniques and analytical tools to interpret complex data, forecast trends, and support evidence-based decision-making.
