Who We're Looking For

As a Business Sales Consultant, you'll be responsible for driving sales of our services to small and medium businesses within your region. You will be a trusted partner for local business owners, helping them understand how technology can improve their operations and transform the way they connect with their customers.

What You’ll Do
  • Prospect and sell our full suite of products to small and medium businesses.
  • Establish and maintain strong, positive relationships with business owners, managers, and IT decision makers through personal contact and outstanding customer service.
  • Identify and analyze clients’ business requirements, propose solutions, negotiate, and close new business revenue.
  • Meet or exceed sales objectives for Rogers Business services, both contracted and uncontracted.
  • Provide weekly and monthly sales commitments reflecting all opportunities.
  • Promote Rogers positively and professionally.
  • Perform other duties as required.
What You’ll Bring
  • Strong skills in cold calling, door knocking, and prospecting for new business.
  • Proven experience in face-to-face customer meetings, conducting presentations, and managing meetings effectively.
  • B2B selling experience within the SMB market, especially in telecommunications or technical fields.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple priorities and meet sales targets.
  • Strong digital literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Own vehicle and valid driver’s license required.
  • Telecommunications experience is a significant asset.
  • Post-secondary education in business administration, commerce, or related technical field is an asset.

This is a hybrid position requiring a minimum of three days in the field or office. You can choose your field days.

If selected, the process includes a 15-minute phone screen and a 1-hour interview with the hiring manager. A background check, credit check, and driver’s abstract may be required.

Location: 475 Richmond Rd., Ottawa, ON. Travel up to 25%.

Schedule: Full-time, Day shift. No fixed contract length.
