LAUNCH is seeking a TWiST Business Researcher/Junior Producer to join our startup-focused media team. You will spend most of your time researching startups, tech, and markets, then break stories down for TWiST news segments and the Ticker newsletter, both published daily.

You will also help archive the 1400+ episodes of This Week in Startups, help research and suggest guests, and learn what it takes to produce a daily podcast and a newsletter about startups.

TWiST Business Researcher/Junior Producer

Our team produces the podcasts “This Week in Startups” (TWiST), “All-In”, and the TWiST Ticker, a newsletter focused on startups and tech. We are a part of LAUNCH, an early-stage firm which invests millions of dollars into dozens of startups every year.

This is a position where you will learn a lot very quickly and have ample opportunity to grow and try new things.

80% of your time will be spent researching news stories covering startups, tech, and public/private markets, and breaking them down for TWiST news segments and the Ticker newsletter, both of which are daily.

The rest of your time will be spent archiving the 1400+ episodes of This Week in Startups, researching and suggesting guests, and learning what it takes to produce a daily podcast and newsletter about startups. The general hours for this role are 12pm-9p ET.
