Role Overview

As our Business Operations Lead, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the way we operate and grow. You’ll be acting as a partner to the Director of Business Operations and many other Leaders and Stakeholders across our business. Ensuring our day-to-day business operations run smoothly, supporting cross-functional teams and processes, you’ll be scaling NPX in a smart and sustainable way. Please note this role is primarily remote, with occasional team gatherings approximately once per quarter, or the ability to work from our Kincardine or Whitby offices if desired.

Salary Range

$90-120K (Exact compensation may vary).

Responsibilities

• Operations: Collaborate to set up finance, IT, and operations functions for success and scalability. Streamline processes, tools, and systems.
• Partnership: Work with cross-functional groups to ensure clarity, alignment, and thriving operations. Lead strategic projects to elevate the organization.
• Driving Data: Use data to inform decision-making. Build data pipelines, SQL databases, and systems to maximize data utility.
• Streamlining and Problem Solving: Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and implement solutions independently.
• Managing Projects: Oversee compliance and lead impactful projects organization-wide. Present to leadership and drive strategic priorities.

Qualifications

• Experience in business operations within a start-up environment, with exposure to finance and IT.
• Strong skills in data pipelines, SQL, and dashboard creation, including building systems from scratch.
• Experience managing teams and projects; mentorship and leadership interests are a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills, prioritization, and attention to detail.
