Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a competitive field such as commerce, management or finance.
  • Fluency with AI systems and tools for day-to-day use.
  • Experience building with AI tools (automations/workflows/small apps) is a strong asset.
  • Familiarity with recruitment software suites is a plus.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a high‑pressure environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain AI-assisted workflows across core business processes.
  • Develop and maintain internal tools and automations to improve operations.
  • Support recruitment operations, candidate communications, and assessment coordination.
  • Keep recruiting systems (e.g., ATS) up to date and contribute to weekly reporting.
  • Coordinate onboarding/offboarding logistics and maintain employee records.
  • Assist with internal/external communications and management reporting.
  • Support business development and broader team operations as capacity allows.

The Opportunity

The Business Operations Analyst will be responsible for collaborating with the Operations team and senior leadership to help the company achieve its business objectives, execute on improvement initiatives, and fulfill key operational activities. You will work closely with the firm’s Operations team daily, with a focus on supporting the firm’s recruitment and talent management operations, and will use and help build the firm’s AI tooling across these processes. You will be an important member of a professional team and will be instrumental in shaping the culture and success of the firm.

The role requires strong judgment, a high level of ownership, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while communicating clearly and consistently with stakeholders. The role is designed to grow: as you develop, the intent is that you assume increasing ownership of the business systems and processes you run.

The Business Operations Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

  • Designing, building, and maintaining AI-assisted workflows and automations across the firm's core business processes
  • Building and maintaining internal tools, automations, and business systems that improve how the firm's core processes run
  • Supporting the firm's recruitment team with recruitment operations, candidate communications, assessment coordination, and timely follow-ups
  • Keeping recruiting systems and data up to date (e.g., the ATS), with accurate stages, notes, and score capture, and supporting weekly recruiting reporting
  • Supporting talent sourcing activities and candidate outreach in collaboration with the hiring lead
  • Coordinating onboarding and offboarding logistics and documentation, and maintaining organized employee records
  • Supporting the development and management of internal and external communications
  • Preparing reporting materials and updating management on the status and performance of operational initiatives
  • Supporting business development production and broader team operations with remaining capacity
Your Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a competitive field, preferably commerce, management, finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
  • Relevant experience is a plus, in areas such as recruiting operations, automation or systems work, or other coordination-heavy roles
  • Demonstrated fluency with AI systems and tools, and comfort using them in day-to-day work
  • Experience building with AI tools, such as automations, workflows, or small applications, is a strong asset
  • Experience with recruitment software suites is an asset
  • Familiarity with full-cycle recruitment and understanding of HR practices is an asset
  • Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives or projects, with strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment that requires high initiative, minimal supervision, and an ability to address shifting priorities in a high-pressure environment
  • Discretion and trustworthiness with confidential information, including candidate and personnel matters
